The Ginger Gosling breathed its first breaths back in late 2015, when I (Becky, the artist) decided to realise my dream of founding my own portrait business, working towards one day funding myself as a full-time artist - something I've dreamed of doing since I was a kid.

I graduated from university back in 2014 after 3 years studying for a Bachelor of Arts in Illustration, and 2 years before that for a National Diploma in Art and Design since I left school at 16. I'm now soon 25, slowly clawing my way closer into the ranks of other professional, awesome portrait artists with every pencil stroke. 

​

2017 was my first year of exhibitions as The Ginger Gosling, working with the RCA to exhibit at the Gatcombe Horse Trials in the Cotswolds, and then a Christmas show at the Kent Crafts for Christmas - my home county and where I am based. This has been a year of discovery, confidence boosters and downfalls, unexpected expenses and, more important than anything else, personal triumphs.

Now, as we enter into 2018, I'm working harder than ever to fulfill my dream. Follow me on social media to discover my latest creations, both commissions and personal projects.
